Description

Photographed in the Hungarian countryside, this image isolates the Pusztatorony as a lone survivor in an otherwise erased landscape. The ruined stone tower rises from a small island of green, surrounded by harvested fields that stretch outward out interruption. There is no village left, no walls, no context. Only the structure that refused to disappear.

The composition is built on isolation and scale. The circular trace of cultivated land wraps around the tower like a boundary, separating history from utility.
