Description
Photographed in Budapest, this image captures the Lépcsőpavilon (Staircase Pavilion) at Várkert Bazár from directly below, turning the staircase into a measured spiral around a blue-glass skylight. The curve is not decorative here. It is structural rhythm, pulling the eye from shadow into the center like a slow, controlled ascent.
Warm ornamentation circles the oculus, while the dark negative space keeps the frame disciplined. It reads as architecture first, and atmosphere second, which is exactly why it holds.
